രാജസ്ഥാന്‍: ഡിസ്‌കസ് ത്രോ താരം കൃഷ്ണാ പൂനിയ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്നു. രാജസ്ഥാന്‍ നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന് മുന്നോടിയായുള്ള രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധി പങ്കെടുത്ത റാലിയിലാണ് പൂനിയ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്നത്.
രാജസ്ഥാനില്‍ പൂനിയ മത്സരിച്ചേക്കുമെന്നും റിപോര്‍ട്ടുകളുണ്ട്. 31 വയസുകാരിയായ പൂനിയ ഡിസ്‌കസ് ത്രോയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ദേശീയചാമ്പ്യനാണ്. 2010 കോമണ്‍വെല്‍ത്ത് ഗെയിംസിലെ ഡിസ്‌കസ് ത്രോയില്‍ സ്വര്‍ണ മെഡല്‍ നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഒളിംമ്പിക്‌സില്‍ വെള്ളി മെഡല്‍ ജേതാവായ ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് താരം രാജ്യവര്‍ധന്‍ സിംഗ് റാത്തോഡ് ബി.ജെ.പിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിച്ചതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് പൂനിയയുടെ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനം. നേരത്തെ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് താരം സച്ചിന്‍ ടെന്‍ഡുല്‍ക്കര്‍ മധ്യപ്രദേശില്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിന്റെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രചാരണങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് എത്തുമെന്ന് റിപോര്‍ട്ടുകളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ സച്ചിന്റെ ഭാഗത്തു നിന്നും ഇതുവരെ പ്രതികരണമൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
