ഭോപാല്‍: മദ്ധ്യപ്രദേശ് അധോലോക നായകന്‍ ഭൈയ്യ രാജയുടെ ഭാര്യയും ബിജെപി എം.എല്‍.എയുമായ ആശ റാണിക്ക് 10 വര്‍ഷം തടവ്. വീട്ടുജോലിക്കാരിയായിരുന്ന തിജി ബായിയെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ കുറ്റത്തിലാണ് ശിക്ഷ. ആശ റാണിയുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താവ് ചെറുമകളെ കൊന്ന കുറ്റത്തില്‍ ജയില്‍ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നതിനിടയിലാണ് ഭാര്യയ്ക്കും ജയില്‍ ശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചത്.
ഛത്തര്‍പൂര്‍ ജില്ലയിലെ ബിജവര്‍ നിയമ പ്രതിനിധിയാണ് ആശ റാണി. തിജി ഭായിയെ കൊന്ന കേസില്‍ ഭൈയ്യ രാജയും പ്രതിയാണ്. 2007 മേയ് 21നാണ് തിജി ഭായിയെ ദുരൂഹസാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ പൊള്ളലേറ്റ് മരിച്ചനിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.
