ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: (www.kvartha.com 31/05/2015) കൊടുംചൂടില്‍ ഉരുകുകയാണ് ഇന്ത്യ. കൊടും ചൂടില്‍ മരിച്ചവരുടെ എണ്ണം ശനിയാഴ്ച രണ്ടായിരം കവിഞ്ഞു. ആന്ധ്ര, ഒറീസ, തെലങ്കാന എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുമായി 202 മരണങ്ങള്‍ റിപോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തതോടെയാണിത്.
ഇന്ത്യയിലാകെ 2005 പേരാണ് ശനിയാഴ്ച വരെ കൊടും ചൂടില്‍ മരിച്ചത്. മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലെ നാഗ്പൂരിലാണ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടിയ ചൂട് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. 47.1 ഡിഗ്രി സെല്‍ഷ്യസ്.
ആന്ധ്രയില്‍ മാത്രം ഇതുവരെ 1636 പേരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. പ്രകാശം ജില്ലയിലാണ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ മരണം. ഗുണ്ടൂര്‍ ജില്ലയില്‍ 233, ഈസ്റ്റ് ഗോദാവരിയില്‍ 192, വിശാഖപട്ടണത്തില്‍ 185, വിസിയനഗരത്തില്‍ 177, നെല്ലൂരില്‍ 163, കൃഷ്ണയില്‍ 78, ചിറ്റൂരില്‍ 64, ശ്രീകാകുളത്ത് 60, ആനന്തപൂരില്‍ 56, കഡപ്പയില്‍ 38, കുര്‍നൂലില്‍ 34, വെസ്റ്റ് ഗോദാവരിയില്‍ 23 എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് കണക്കുകള്‍.
