മധുര: തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നിന്ന് രാമേശ്വരത്തേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ട മലയാളികള്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ച കാര്‍ തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിലെ വിരുതനഗറിന് സമീപം അപകടത്തില്‍പെട്ട് മൂന്ന് പേര്‍ മരിച്ചു. നാല് പേര്‍ക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റു. ഇവരില്‍ മൂന്ന് പേരുടെ നില ഗുരുതരമാണ്.
ബുധനാഴ്ച പുലര്‍ച്ചെ അഞ്ച് മണിയോടെയാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. കാര്‍ റോഡിലെ മീഡിയനില്‍ ഇടിച്ച് തകരുകയായിരുന്നു. പോത്തന്‍കോട് ഐരുപ്പാറ സ്വദേശികളാണ് മരിച്ചവരും പരിക്കേറ്റവരും. മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ തിരുമംഗലം ജില്ലാ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
