ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് ഹോം ഇന്ത്യയിലെത്തി

ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് പ്രേമികള്‍ക്കായുള്ള ആന്‍ഡ്രോയിഡ് ആപ്ളിക്കേഷന്‍ ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് ഹോം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഉപഭോക്താക്കള്‍ക്ക് ഗൂഗിള്‍ പ്ളേ സ്റ്റോറില്‍ ലഭ്യമായി തുടങ്ങി. ഏത് ഫോണിനെയും ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് ഫോണാക്കുന്ന ഈ ആപ്ളിക്കേഷന്‍ പക്ഷെ നിലവില്‍ എച്ച്.ടി.സി വണ്‍ എക്സ്, എച്ച്.ടി.സി വണ്‍ എക്സ് പ്ളസ്, സാംസംഗ് ഗ്യാലക്സി എസ്3, ഗ്യാലക്സി നോട്ട്2 എന്നീ ഫോണുകളിലാണ് ഈ ആപ്ളിക്കേഷന്‍ ഡൗണ്‍ലോഡ് ചെയ്യാനാവുക.

അധികം വൈകാതെ കൂടുതല്‍ ഉപഭോക്താക്കള്‍ക്ക് ആപ്ളിക്കേഷന്‍ ലഭ്യമാക്കുമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷ. പുറത്തിറങ്ങാനിരിക്കുന്ന എച്ച്.ടി.സി വണ്ണിലും ഗ്യാലക്സി എസ്4ലും ആപ്ളിക്കേഷന്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കും.

നേരത്തേ ഏപ്രില്‍ 12ന് ആപ്ളിക്കേഷന്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഉപഭോക്താക്കള്‍ക്ക് ലഭ്യമാക്കുമെന്നായിരുന്നു പ്രഖ്യാപനം.
കടുത്ത ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് പ്രേമികള്‍ക്ക് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുടെ അപ്ഡേറ്റുകളും ന്യൂസ്ഫീഡുകളും മറ്റും ഹോം സ്ക്രീനില്‍ തന്നെ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്ന ആപ്ളിക്കേഷന്‍ ഗൂഗിളിന് കടുത്ത വെല്ലുവിളിയാണ് ഉയര്‍ത്തുകയെന്ന് ചൂണ്ടികാണിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.


Summary: Facebook Home, announced earlier this month, is now availa
ble on the Google Play store in India but for select users. Facebook Home currently works on the HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note II. Home will also work on the forthcoming HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4. The app will be available for more Android devices in the coming months.

The company had earlier announced that Facebook Home would be available as a free download from the Google Play Store starting April 12, but the app has been released today for users in India. We tried to download the app a few days back but a message cropped up saying, "the item is not available in your country". But starting today, select users (mentioned above) can download the Facebook Home app from the Google Play store.
