നിലവിലെ പട്ടികയില്‍ 19തരം വൈകല്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് മാത്രമേ പ്രതിപാദിക്കുന്നുള്ളൂ.1995ലെ പിഡബ്ല്യുഡി നിയമത്തില്‍ ഭേദഗതികള്‍ വരുത്താന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രിസഭാ യോഗത്തില്‍ ധാരണയായിരുന്നു.
