ദുബൈ: (www.kvartha.com 30/04/2015) ദുബൈ മാളിലെ മുതലമുട്ട വിരിഞ്ഞ് ആദ്യത്തെ കുഞ്ഞ് പിറന്നു. 80 വയസിലേറെ പ്രായമുള്ള പെണ്‍ മുതല 59 മുട്ടകളായിരുന്നു ഇട്ടിരുന്നത്.
മുതല മുട്ടകള്‍ വിരിയാന്‍ 90 ദിവസമാണ് എടുക്കുക. 59 മുട്ടകളില്‍ 25 എണ്ണം മാത്രമാണിപ്പോള്‍ അവശേഷിക്കുന്നത്. മുട്ട വിരിഞ്ഞ് പുറത്തുവരുന്ന മുതല കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ വന്‍ മല്‍സ്യങ്ങളും മറ്റും ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയാണ് പതിവ്. അതിനാല്‍ പുറത്തുവരുന്നതിന്റെ 10 ശതമാനം മാത്രമാണ് അവശേഷിക്കുക.
അടുത്ത രണ്ട് ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ മുട്ടകള്‍ വിരിയും. മുതല കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ കാണാന്‍ വന്‍ തിരക്കാണ് അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നത്.
