മൊഗാദിഷു: (www.kvartha.com 29.09.2014) സോമാലി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ മുന്നോട്ടുവെച്ച പൊതുമാപ്പ് 500ഓളം അല്‍ ശബാബ് പോരാളികള്‍ പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തി. അല്‍ ശബാബ് നേതാവ് അഹമ്മദ് അബ്ദി ഗോഡൈനിന്റെ മരണത്തോടെയാണ് അല്‍ ശബാബിന്റെ ശക്തി ക്ഷയിച്ചത്.
മുന്‍ പോരാളികളുടെ പുനരധിവാസത്തിന് മുന്‍ കൈയ്യെടുക്കുന്ന ഇന്റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ ഏജന്‍സിയായ ബര്‍ബാര്‍ ഇനീഷ്യേറ്റീവാണ് പൊതുമാപ്പ് സ്വീകരിച്ച പോരാളികളുടെ എണ്ണം പുറത്തുവിട്ടത്.
നിരന്തരമായ സൈനീക നീക്കങ്ങള്‍ അല്‍ ശബാബിന് തിരിച്ചടിയായി. കൂടാതെ സംഘടനയുടെ വരുമാനം നഷ്ടമായതും പോരാളികളുടെ കൊഴിഞ്ഞുപോക്കിന് കാരണമായി.
