കൊച്ചി: ഡീസല്‍വില ഇങ്ങനെപോയാല്‍ കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സി. പൂട്ടേണ്ടിവരുമെന്ന് ഗതാഗതമന്ത്രി ആര്യാടന്‍ മുഹമ്മദ്. കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സിക്കുള്ള ഡീസലിന് കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം വീണ്ടും വില കൂടിയ സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് മന്ത്രിയുടെ പ്രസ്താവന.
പ്രതിമാസം 90 കോടി രൂപയുടെ നഷ്ടമാണ് കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സിക്കുള്ളത്. ഭീമമായ നഷ്ടം സഹിച്ച് ഒരുതരത്തിലും മുന്നോട്ടു പോകാനാകില്ല. ഇങ്ങനെ പോകുന്നപക്ഷം കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സി തനിയെ നില്‍ക്കും. കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സിയുടെ നിലനില്‍പിന് കേന്ദ്ര പിന്തുണ ആവശ്യമാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ കേന്ദ്ര സഹായം സംബന്ധിച്ച് തനിക്ക് പ്രതീക്ഷയില്ലെന്നും ഡല്‍ഹി യാത്രകള്‍ വെറുതെയാണെന്നും ആര്യാടന്‍ മുഹമ്മദ് കൊച്ചിയില്‍ മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
പുതിയ വിലവര്‍ധ പ്രതിനം 7.5 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ അധിക ബാധ്യതയാണ് കോര്‍പറേഷന് ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്. സ്വകാര്യ പമ്പുകളില്‍ ഡീസല്‍ അടിക്കുന്നതിനെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ചോദ്യത്തിന് അത് ചീത്തപ്പേരിന് ഇടയാക്കുമെന്നായിരുന്നു മന്ത്രിയുടെ പ്രതികരണം. സിവില്‍ സപ്‌ളൈസ്, ഐ.ഒ.സി. പമ്പുകളില്‍ നിന്നു ഡീസല്‍ അടിക്കുന്നത് ആലോചിക്കുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചു.
വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച ലിറ്ററിന് 1.19 രൂപയാണ് ഡീസല്‍വില വര്‍ധിപ്പിച്ചത്. വന്‍കിട ഉപഭോക്താവിന്റെ പട്ടികയില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തി സബ്‌സിഡി ആനുകൂല്യത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒഴിവാക്കിയതോടെ വിപണി വിലയേക്കാള്‍ 13.39 രൂപയോളം അധികം നല്‍കിയാണ് കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സി. ഡീസല്‍ വാങ്ങുന്നത്.

Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he said the corporation cannot afford to go on this way. 'If it goes on like this, the corporation will have to be shut down,' said the minister adding he does not expect the central government to come to the rescue of the public sector company.
