വിന്‍ഡ്‌ഹോക്: നമീബിയയില്‍ വിമാനം തകര്‍ന്നുവീണ് 34 പേര്‍ മരിച്ചു. അംഗോളയ്ക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ട മൊസാംബിക്ക് എയര്‍ലൈന്‍സിന്റെ ടിഎം 470 വിമാനമാണ് അപകടത്തില്‍ പെട്ടത്. വടക്കു കിഴക്കന്‍ നമീബിയയില്‍ വിമാനം തകര്‍ന്ന് വീഴുകയായിരുന്നു.
28 യാത്രക്കാരും ആറ് ജീവനക്കാരുമാണ് വിമാനത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. പ്രാദേശിക സമയം വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച 11.26നാണ് മാപുട്ടോയില്‍ നിന്ന് വിമാനം യാത്രതിരിച്ചത്. അന്ന് തന്നെ വിമാനവുമായുള്ള എല്ലാ ബന്ധങ്ങളും വിച്ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നതായി എയര്‍ട്രാഫിക് കണ്‍ട്രോളര്‍ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു.
മൊസാംബിക്ക് മേഖലയില്‍ കനത്ത മഴയുണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെന്നും അതായിരിക്കാം ബന്ധം വിച്ഛേദിക്കാന്‍ കാരണമെന്നും മൊസാംബിക്കന്‍ മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ റിപോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. വിമാനത്തിനായി തിരച്ചില്‍ നടത്തിവരുന്നതിനിടയിലാണ് നമീബിയയില്‍
തകര്‍ന്ന് വീണതായി കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.
