ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലിനായി ഒബെയ്ദിനെ ബാംഗ്ലൂരിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ മുജാഹിദ്ദീനുമായുള്ള ബന്ധത്തിന്റെ പേരിലാണ് ബാംഗ്‌ളൂരില്‍ നിന്നും പത്രപ്രവര്‍ത്തകനും എന്‍ജിനീയറുമുള്‍പ്പെട്ട 11 അംഗ സംഘത്തെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്.
പിടിയിലായവര്‍ സ്‌കൈപ്പ് വഴി സൗദി അറേബ്യയിലെ ഭീകര നേതാക്കളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നുവെന്നാണ് വിവരം. ചെലവുകുറഞ്ഞ ഇന്റര്‍നെറ്റ് ഫോണ്‍ സംവിധാനമായ സ്‌കൈപ്പ് ആയിരുന്നു ഇവരുടെ ഇഷ്ട മാധ്യമമെന്നും അന്വേഷണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
SUMMARY: A student was arrested from Hyderabad on Friday evening in connection with 11 arrests that were made on Thursday in Bangalore. Bangalore police arrested 26-year old Obaid Rehman and took him to Bangalore for further investigation. Of the 10, apart from Yusuf, six are from Hubli-Dharwad
district. Among the arrested are a scientist of the Defence Research and Development Organisation and a journalist.
