കൊല്ലം: പടക്ക നിര്‍മാണ ശാലയ്ക്ക് തീപിടിച്ച് ഒരാള്‍ മരിച്ചു. തമിഴ്‌നാട് സ്വദേശി പരമശിവമാണ് മരിച്ചത്. അഞ്ച് പേര്‍ക്ക് ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റു. ഇവരെ കൊട്ടാരക്കര താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. കൊല്ലം പത്തനാപുരത്തിനടുത്ത് പട്ടാഴിയിലാണ് സംഭവം. പരിക്കേറ്റവരില്‍ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയും ഉള്‍പെടുന്നു.

പട്ടാഴി കോളൂര്‍മുക്കില്‍ അജയകുമാറിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള പടക്ക നിര്‍മാണ ശാലക്കാണ് തീപിടിച്ചത്. തീയണക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമം ഇപ്പോഴും പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണ്. നേരത്തെ ഇവിടെയുണ്ടായ സ്‌ഫോടനത്തില്‍ ലൈസന്‍സിയുടെ മകന്‍ മരണപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഞായറാഴ്ച വൈകിട്ട് 3.15 ഓടെയാണ് തീപിടുത്തമുണ്ടായത്. ചതുപ്പ് നിറഞ്ഞ സ്ഥലത്താണ് അപകടം നടന്നത്. ഇത് രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തെ കാര്യമായി ബാധിച്ചു.
