മോഡിയെ വധിക്കാന്‍ രണ്ട് ചാവേറുകള്‍ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടു

പാറ്റ്‌ന: പാറ്റ്‌നയിലെ റാലിക്കിടയില്‍ മോഡിയെ വധിക്കാന്‍ രണ്ട് ചാവേറുകള്‍ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടതായി എന്‍.ഐ.എ. 1991, മേയ് 21ല്‍ ശ്രീപെരുമ്പുതൂരില്‍ രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധിയെ വധിച്ചതിനു സമാനമായി മോഡിയേയും വധിക്കാനായിരുന്നു പദ്ധതി. എന്നാല്‍ ടൈമര്‍ ബാറ്ററി മാറ്റുന്നതിലുണ്ടായ പിഴവ് മൂലം പദ്ധതി പരാജയപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു.

അറസ്റ്റിലായ ഇംതിയാസ് അന്‍സാരി, ഐനുല്‍ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു ചാവേറുകള്‍. ബോംബുകള്‍ സ്ഥാപിച്ചശേഷം സ്‌ഫോടനവസ്തുക്കള്‍ ശരീരത്തില്‍ ബന്ധിച്ച് സ്വയം പൊട്ടിത്തെറിച്ച് ജനങ്ങളെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്താനായിരുന്നു പദ്ധതി. നരേന്ദ്രമോഡിയെ സമീപിച്ച് പൊട്ടിത്തെറിക്കാന്‍ ഏറ്റിരുന്നത് ഇംതിയാസ് ആണെന്നും എന്‍.ഐ.എ പറഞ്ഞു.

എങ്ങനെയെങ്കിലും വേദിയിലെത്തി മോഡിക്ക് സമീപത്തെത്തി പൊട്ടിത്തെറിക്കാനായിരുന്നു ഇംതിയാസിന്റെ പദ്ധതി.

വേദിക്ക് താഴെ പൊട്ടിത്തെറിക്കാനായിരുന്നു ഐനുലിന്റെ പദ്ധതി. എന്നാല്‍ പാറ്റ്‌ന റെയില്‍ വേ സ്‌റ്റേഷനിലുണ്ടായ സ്‌ഫോടനമാണ് പദ്ധതികള്‍ തെറ്റിച്ചത്. കണക്കുകൂട്ടിയ സമയത്തിന് മുന്‍പായിരുന്നു സ്‌ഫോടനമുണ്ടായത്. ഇവിടെനിന്നും ഓടിരക്ഷപ്പെടാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ച ഇംതിയാസിനെ പോലീസ് പിടികൂടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

അതേസമയം ഐനുലിന് സ്‌ഫോടനത്തില്‍ ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റു. ഇയാള്‍ പിന്നീട് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ മരണപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു.
