ന്യൂദല്ഹി: മൂന്നുവര്ഷത്തെ ഇടവേളക്ക് ശേഷം സ്വന്തമായി നിര്മിച്ച ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ ബോളീവുഡിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങിവരുകയാണ് നടി പ്രതീതി സിന്റ. പ്രേം സോണി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത `Ishkq in Paris` ന്െറ റിലീസ് ഏറെ നീട്ടിവെക്കലുകള്ക്ക് ശേഷം ഈ മാസം 24നാണ് നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. പ്രീതി തന്നെയാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ നായികയായ പാതി ഇന്ത്യാക്കാരിയും പാതി ഫ്രഞ്ചുകാരിയുമായ ‘ഇഷ്ഖി’നെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിനൊപ്പം ചിത്രത്തിന്െറ നിര്മാണവും ഏറെ വെല്ലുവിളി സഹിച്ചാണ് പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കിയതെന്ന് പ്രീതി സിന്റ ന്യൂദല്ഹിയില് വാര്ത്താ ഏജന്സിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
എട്ടുമാസങ്ങള്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് തിരക്കഥ പൂര്ത്തിയായെങ്കിലും സംവിധായകന് പ്രേമിന്െറ കാന്സര്ബാധ എല്ലാ ഷെഡ്യൂളുകളും തകിടം മറിച്ചു. പ്രാഥമികഘട്ടം മുതല് ചിത്രവുമായി ഇടപെട്ടത് നിരവധി അനുഭവങ്ങളാണ് സമ്മാനിച്ചത്. നായിക നടിക്കൊപ്പം തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തും നിര്മാതാവും താനായതിനാല് സെറ്റുകളില് ഭാരിച്ച ജോലികളാണ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് -38 കാരിയായ നടി പറഞ്ഞു.
സ്വന്തം ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള ഐ.പി.എല് ടീമായ കിംഗ്സ് ഇലവന് പഞ്ചാബിന്െറ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങള് സജീവമാക്കുന്നതിനാണ് പ്രീതി സിനിമയില് നിന്ന് മൂന്നുവര്ഷം ബ്രേക്ക് എടുത്തത്. ഈയിടെ തിബറ്റന് ആത്മീയ നേതാവ് ദലൈലാമയുമായി നടത്തിയ കൂടികാഴ്ചയില് അദ്ദേഹം സിനിമയിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുവരാന് ഉപദേശിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു -പ്രീതി പറഞ്ഞു. സല്മാന്ഖാന്െറ നായികയായി അഭിനയിച്ച് 2009ല് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ‘മെയിന് ഔര് മിസിസ് ഖന്ന’യാണ് പ്രീതിയുടേതായി അവസാനം പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ചിത്രം.

The film, directed by Prem Soni, was initially set to release last year but got postponed after the director was diagnosed with cancer. Preity`s maiden production is now slated for release on May 24.
"Shooting this film was not easy... It was a risk. But it was an incredible experience because I was involved in it since the inception. In eight months, I and Prem (director) wrote an original script which is not based on any Hollywood film or an adaptation of a book.
"There was so much work on the sets because I was producing it also. I had to take care of every aspect besides my job as a scriptwriter and lead actress," Preity said in an interview.
